Accountants - Public Practice & Advisory

Junior/Intermediate to Senior Accountant roles across a number of Public Practice Accountants in the Newcastle and Maitland areas

We are partnering with several well-established public practice accounting firms across the Newcastle and Maitland region that are experiencing sustained growth and are looking to strengthen their teams at multiple levels.
  
These opportunities suit Junior Accountants, Intermediate Accountants, Senior Accountants, and emerging leaders who want long-term career progression within reputable local firms.
  
The Opportunity
Depending on your level of experience, responsibilities may include:

• Preparation of individual, company, trust, and partnership tax returns
• Financial statements and compliance reporting
• BAS, GST, IAS, and payroll tax
• Client liaison and advisory support
• Mentoring junior staff (senior levels)
• Review work, workflow management, and client portfolio ownership (senior levels)

About You
We are open to candidates across the spectrum: 

• Junior: Accounting degree completed or near completion, exposure to public practice highly regarded – Reduced hours can be catered for ie Study commitments
• Intermediate: 2–4+ years’ experience in public practice, confident end-to-end compliance delivery
• Senior: 5+ years’ experience, strong client management skills, review capability, and leadership mindset
• CA / CPA (or currently studying) preferred for intermediate and senior roles.
