Starting as an Accounts Assistant / Financial Accountant, you will support day‑to‑day finance activities, working alongside an existing team member, and gradually take on responsibilities currently managed by the Company Secretary.

Key Responsibilities
- Support accounts processing including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and journals
- Month‑end support including reporting and ledger maintenance
- Payroll assistance and award/EBA interpretation
- Compliance and governance support as duties transition from the Company Secretary
- Document management and statutory record keeping
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external advisors
- General finance administration and process improvement
About You
- Formal accounting qualifications are essential (Degree, CA/CPA or working towards)
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance administration
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Comfortable working in a small, close‑knit engineering environment
- Ability to learn new responsibilities over time
- Confident communicator with solid organisational skills
- Experience with BusinessCraft would be well regarded
