Unique opportunity for a Senior Accountant / Finance Leader to join a fast growing business coaching company working exclusively with trade and construction business owners across Australia and NZ (no client travel)

Our client is looking for an experienced Accountant or Finance Professional who ideally understands the construction industry (or related) and wants to step into a coaching role.

This is not a traditional accounting position. You will not be lodging tax returns all day. You will be coaching business owners on how to understand their numbers, improve profitability, manage cash flow and build financially strong businesses.

You will work directly with construction business owners through one on one coaching calls, group Zoom sessions and educational workshops.

Your role is to simplify financials, create clarity and hold clients accountable to strong financial habits.

The business is young, but established and already has impressive revenue figures

How you’ll spend your time:

• Coaching clients on cash flow, profit, margins and financial structure
• Teaching tradies how to read and understand their P&L and balance sheet
• Guiding pricing strategy and job costing systems
• Helping implement better bookkeeping processes
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Running financial training sessions and workshops

• You have accounting/finance experience at a more senior level
• You understand construction or trade based businesses ideally
