Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Financial Accountant with a least a couple of years of solid financial accounting experiences to join an established business with multiple entities in the Cooranbong/Dora Creek region.

This is a good opportunity to work under an experienced Finance leader and supportive Accounting team for a business that values career growth and opportunity. Work in a modern office space with amenities close by and free parking.

The Role
Financial Accountant come Accounts Assistant to support and help maintain the accounts across a multi-entity organisation. This role supports the CFO and Finance team.
  
This is initially a Temporary role for 2 - 3 months with a high likelihood of turning permanent and is office based Mon - Friday
  
Key Focus Areas

• Financial accounting across multiple entities
• Month-end and year-end close support
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Supporting Tax compliance (BAS, PAYG, FBT, Payroll Tax)
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis support

Ideal Candidate

• 2+ years’ financial accounting experience in a larger sized business
• Strong technical accounting experiences
• Ideally, experience in multi-entity or complex environments
• Ability to work onsite for normal working hours
• CA / CPA qualified or currently studying preferred but not mandatory
• Strong Excel and systems capability (MYOB Advanced desirable)
