Career Legal Secretary / Paralegal - Workers Compensation
Are you an experienced workers compensation career legal secretary or paralegal or looking for a role where you can take ownership of your files, work closely with experienced lawyers and feel valued for what you bring?
Connected People is partnering with an established plaintiff law firm in Parramatta to recruit a Paralegal for its Workers Compensation team.
The opportunity
You’ll manage NSW workers compensation matters under solicitor supervision, helping injured clients navigate claims and disputes. Your work will include:
You’ll bring at least three years’ personal injury (workers compensation ideally) secretarial experience. You’re organised, confident managing your own workload and comfortable building relationships with clients.
The client is not seeking a student at this time.

The opportunity
You’ll manage NSW workers compensation matters under solicitor supervision, helping injured clients navigate claims and disputes. Your work will include:
- Progressing files from initial instructions through to resolution
- Drafting correspondence, statements and Personal Injury Commission applications
- Gathering and reviewing medical evidence and supporting documents
- Assisting with statutory benefit disputes, permanent impairment claims and IRO funding applications
- Keeping clients informed and liaising with doctors, experts and insurers
You’ll bring at least three years’ personal injury (workers compensation ideally) secretarial experience. You’re organised, confident managing your own workload and comfortable building relationships with clients.
The client is not seeking a student at this time.
