Construction Project Manager - Coaching Position

Are you an experienced Construction Project Manager who's delivered projects from tender through to handover and is craving a career pivot?

My client is offering a unique opportunity to join a genuinely successful Trades & Construction Coaching business in NSW.

This is not a traditional project delivery role. You will be delivering coaching, and not delivering projects for them

Clients range in size up to tens of millions in turnover and are mostly in the Residential space

Initially considering Newcastle or Sydney based candidates

What You'll Be Doing

• Coaching and mentoring Construction PMs/ business owners via mostly online sessions, group and individual, as well as helping hold them accountable for their growth plans
• Sharing practical, real-world project management expertise and guidance
• Reviewing project challenges and helping clients find solutions
• Delivering coaching sessions, workshops and training content alongside your colleagues in this business
• Helping PMs improve project profitability, communication and performance
• Contributing to the coaching frameworks and programs available

What my client is looking For

You must have genuine end-to-end Construction Project Management / Site Management experience.

They're looking for someone who has personally managed projects through all key phases, including:

• Tender and bid support
• Planning and procurement
• Contract administration
• Budget and cost management
• Programme management
• Stakeholder and client management
• Delivery and construction phases
• Defects and project handover
• Commercial and financial accountability

You are someone who:

• Has a good number of years in the construction industry
• Has successfully delivered projects from start to finish
• Understands both the commercial and delivery sides of construction
• Naturally mentors and develops others
• Is an excellent communicator
• Can simplify complex concepts into practical advice
• Has credibility with Project Managers, Contract Administrators and Site Teams
• Wants to make a lasting impact on people's careers

This role is not suitable for candidates whose experience has been limited to site supervision, contract administration or project coordination alone.
