The Team & Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Lawyer to join this dynamic team. In this role, you will have the chance to work on both independent family law matters and collaborate on more complex cases. You’ll manage property and parenting matters, prepare court documents, conduct mediations, and build your professional profile in the legal community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage property and parenting matters from start to finish
- Appear at directions hearings, mentions, conciliation conferences, and mediations
- Prepare court and relevant documents for hearings, conferences, and interim orders
- Brief and instruct counsel for interim and final hearings
- Draft Consent Orders, Financial Agreements, and Child Support Agreements
- Conduct mediations and alternative dispute resolution events
- Work independently on family law cases, collaborating on more complex matters
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in family law
- A passion for family law and helping clients navigate their matters
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Initiative and commitment to business development and team culture
