Day to day you will:
- Manage property and parenting matters independently and work on more complex cases with team support.
- Appear in directions hearings, interim hearings, and final hearings, and instruct in court proceedings.
- Prepare and draft court documents, including Consent Orders, Financial Agreements, and Child Support Agreements.
- Conduct mediations and lead alternative dispute resolution events.
- Build networks and relationships with counsel, stakeholders, and clients, contributing to your professional reputation as a respected family lawyer.
What are we looking for:
- Proven experience running property and parenting matters in Family Law.
- Experience appearing in court and preparing legal documents for hearings.
- A strong commitment to ethical practice and innovation in Family Law.
- A passion for career development in Family Law and the ability to manage business development.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
