The Role: As the Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial management of this impactful division. Oversee the preparation of the multi-year budgets, rolling forecasts, and crucially, the development of financial models that support sustainable business decisions. There are also shared service aspects to the role, across other divisions in the organisation.

The Role: As the Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial management of this impactful division. Oversee the preparation of the multi-year budgets, rolling forecasts, and crucially, the development of financial models that support sustainable business decisions. There are also shared service aspects to the role, across other divisions in the organisation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Financial reporting and board reporting/ data presentation
- Managing acquittals and funding processes inc funding modelling and dealing with changes in funding
- Building relationships with Directors and the wider division teams
- Supporting financial decision-making alongside the senior stakeholders and business partners; timeline setting
- Overseeing budgets and communicating internally in a non financial manner
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and streamlining financial operations to enhance efficiency
- CPA or CA qualified
- Previous experience in a Not-for-profit type business is highly regarded in order to understand funding and funding modeling
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a small team of 1-2
- Significant hands on experience of funding models: Funding sources, grant funding, government funding plans, dealing with changes in funding etc
- Solid experience with managing the acquittals process
- Experience of working with Directors and the Board to discuss reported data
- A warm, compassionate individual who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment
- Excellent communicator and relationship builder
