Legal Counsel

Connected People are partnering with a leading equipment provider in construction, mining, and agriculture to appoint a Legal Counsel. This is an opportunity to step into an in-house role where your advice will have real impact, working across a diverse mix of commercial and corporate matters.

As Legal Counsel you’ll enjoy variety in your work and direct exposure to the business, with responsibilities including:

• Customer sales and supply contracts
• Employment and safety matters
• Procurement and supplier agreements
• Property and infrastructure projects
• Compliance, risk, and governance support

As part of a close-knit legal team, you’ll work alongside the General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel while directly supporting managers and employees across all business units.

We're looking for a Lawyer who:

• Is admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW (or another Australian jurisdiction) and holds a current practising certificate
• Ideally has solid practicing experience gained in either resources, construction, or infrastructure 
• Is commercially minded with a pragmatic, solution-focused style
• is able to demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Is collaborative, approachable, and confident providing practical advice
