About the Role
Reporting to the firm's leadership team, you'll provide dedicated leadership and support to the administration and legal support professionals across the Newcastle and Sydney offices.
Your focus will be on ensuring teams are well supported, engaged and positioned to deliver exceptional service while contributing to the continued success of the firm.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead and support the firm's administration and legal support teams, providing day-to-day people leadership while ensuring resources, workloads and team operations run smoothly across both offices.
  • Oversee resource allocation, workflow and staffing coverage.
  • Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day people matters and team support.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and team effectiveness.
  • Partner with the leadership team to support the firm's continued growth and success.
The role is primarily based in Newcastle, with travel to the Sydney office approximately once per fortnight.

About You
To be successful, you'll have experience working within a legal practice in a leadership capacity, ideally as a:
  • Practice Manager
  • Office Manager
  • Senior Legal PA or Executive Assistant with leadership responsibilities
You'll also bring:
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
  • A natural ability to lead, support and motivate others.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative and commercially minded approach.
What's on Offer?

  • A newly created leadership role with genuine autonomy.
  • The opportunity to work closely with a dynamic and entrepreneurial leadership team.
  • A collaborative, supportive and highly respected firm.
  • Ongoing professional development and career growth.
  • Health and wellbeing initiatives, social events and an inclusive workplace culture.
If you're looking for an opportunity to lead people, strengthen culture and contribute to the success of one of the Hunter's leading law firms, we'd love to hear from you.
