Management Accountant

We are partnering with a well-regarded Not-for-Profit organisation seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on a 3–6 month temporary contract with the likelihood of turning Permanent.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an organisation delivering meaningful impact in the community, while supporting key financial reporting and business partnering functions during a busy period.

The Role
Reporting to the COO, your responsibilities will include:

• Monthly management reporting and analysis
• Gathering data and analysing
• Budgeting and forecasting support
• Variance analysis and financial commentary
• Business partnering with operational stakeholders
• Grant and funding acquittals (where applicable)
• Assisting with year-end preparation and audit support
• Process improvement and system support

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Ideally CA / CPA qualified or part-qualified
• Proven experience in a Management Accountant role
• Strong budgeting and forecasting capability
• Solid ability to interpret data and analyse
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Experience within NFP, healthcare, education, or community services (highly regarded)
• Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
