Paralegal

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing commercial law firm seeking a Paralegal to join its Litigation & Insolvency team in Bondi Junction.

This is a hands-on role working closely with a busy disputes team across court processes, matter management and the day-to-day progression of litigation files. 

The role

• Prepare and file court and tribunal documents
• Assist with affidavits, subpoenas and service
• Prepare briefs to counsel and court materials
• Manage court dates, critical deadlines and matter progression
• Liaise with clients, barristers and other stakeholders
• Assist with correspondence and document preparation
• Maintain and manage matters within Actionstep
• Support the broader file management and administration involved in running litigation matters
• Work with legal technology including Actionstep, Harvey AI, DocuSign and Westlaw

About you
You may already be working as a Litigation Paralegal, or perhaps you're an experienced Legal Assistant looking to move further into paralegal work.

We're looking for someone who brings:

• Previous practical experience within litigation or dispute resolution
• Exposure to court processes and documentation
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Confidence managing deadlines and competing priorities
• An interest in commercial litigation and insolvency
• A willingness to take ownership of your work and learn

This is a full-time position and requires previous hands-on litigation experience. For this reason, it won't be suitable for students looking to gain their first legal/litigation experience or candidates seeking part-time hours.
