Due to an internal promotion, a respected law firm is seeking a Receptionist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a client-facing role, thrives in a professional services environment, and takes pride in creating a warm, organised, and seamless front-of-house experience.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of reception and supporting the wider office through a range of administrative and coordination tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the main phone line – answering, transferring calls and taking accurate messages
- Greeting clients and visitors with professionalism
- Preparing tea/coffee and ensuring a welcoming client experience
- Maintaining reception, meeting rooms and general presentation standards
- Updating internal databases and assisting with general administrative tasks
The ideal candidate will be professional, personable, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities with ease.
- Previous experience in reception or front of house
- Strong communication skills and a confident phone manner
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to manage tasks calmly and efficiently in a steady, client-facing environment
- Comfort with basic IT tasks and systems
